Onsen & spa
Three bathing areas, all with Lake Toya views:
- TENQOO (rooftop) — panoramic infinity bath. The signature experience — designed to look like the bath extends into the lake.
- EZOFUJI (9F) — indoor panoramic bath with lake views.
- Showa-no-Yu (2F) — retro-style public sento.
All closed 1:30–4:00 AM for cleaning. Also: bedrock bath (ganban-buro) and spa treatments.
The Nonokaze Club Executive Twin includes a private hot spring bath with lake view right in the room — no need for communal bathing or booking the kashikiri-buro. Use whenever you want, no time limit, complete privacy.
The 2 kashikiri-buro rooms (¥4,400/50 min) are also available if you want the larger tub experience with lake views.
Dining
Your booking includes breakfast and dinner at Le Vent (Hokkaido luxury buffet). No need to plan evening meals for May 2 and May 3.
Four options on-site (no lunch service — nearby restaurants for midday):

|---|---|---|
| Le Vent | Lake-view buffet | Breakfast 7–10am, dinner 5–9pm |
| N-Vague | French-kaiseki fusion | Limited to 4 groups per night. 9-course dinner with Toya Wagyu. Adults only. |
| Nonokaze Saryo | Private kaiseki | Adults only, private dining room |
| With | Pet-friendly | Separate restaurant |
Only 4 groups per night — calm and intimate. 9-course French-kaiseki fusion with Toya Wagyu and Hokkaido ingredients. ~¥11,000/person upgrade from the included Le Vent buffet. Must book at least 5 days in advance. Adults only. Worth considering for one of the two evenings — the buffet covers the other night.
What to know
- This is remote. Toyako Onsen is a small hot spring town, not a city. That's the point — it's the rest stop in the middle of the Hokkaido leg.
- Dennison's highlight: Lake Toya is a stunning caldera lake surrounded by mountains. Photography opportunities everywhere. Mt. Usu ropeway is nearby for panoramic shots.
- Ryan's highlight: Private hot spring bath in your room, breakfast and dinner included, exclusive Club lounge with free snacks and drinks. Two days of doing absolutely nothing if you want.
- Evening: Toyako Onsen has a nightly fireworks display (late Apr–Oct, 8:45pm from the lake). Visible from the hotel — no need to be in a crowd.
Nearby
- Lake Toya lakefront promenade — walk along the shore, public foot baths
- Mt. Usu Ropeway — volcanic crater views, 10 min drive
- Toyako Visitor Center / Volcano Science Museum — small but interesting, walkable
- Sairo Observatory — panoramic lake viewpoint, requires transport
