The room

The Station Side Queen faces south over Tokyo Station — you can watch Shinkansen and commuter trains arriving and departing from above, including from the bathroom window. 20m² with high ceilings and large windows. Free bottled water daily, flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Train spotting from the bath

The station-side view is the whole point of this room type. Watching bullet trains come and go from a hotel bathtub is a pretty good way to decompress after 15+ hours of travel.

Ryan notes

The hotel lobby on 27F is a calm, quiet space with views over the city — good decompression spot if you need to retreat from the station chaos below. The station itself is enormous and crowded, but you can avoid most of it by using the Nihonbashi Exit directly.

Why this hotel

Perfect for a one-night transit stop. Direct station access means no taxi or navigation needed after a 15+ hour journey from Melbourne. Walking distance to Imperial Palace East Gardens and Marunouchi Naka-dori for low-key afternoon plans.
